One of my favorite cover versions of the Rolling Stones classic.

Take a brilliant song, add a good drum sample to it and you have a hit. Even the rather mediocre vocals are enough. That actually shows first and foremost how good the Beatles were when pretty much anyone can reuse their songs and make a hit. No offence to the great funky drummer sample - the Fine Young Canibals used it for "I'm not the man I used to be". But in this case it completed their own very good composition.

Madstock, one of the best underrated records of the 90's.

I think it s the greatest cover ever who respect the spiritual side of the song. I remember this day of 1990 i played football with my friends and a friend bring his radio. When i ear this cover i going near the sound and i had the need to watch the clouds and no matter what happen around . I really discovered the beatles after that and i begin to think at this time to do music and write a songs and i did it until today ( i became professionnal) on 2022 .

Almost nobody manages an entire album that's actually GOOD, not one bad song, and the entire album having an enjoyable spirit about it. Highly rare. I was in the Marines too, first gulf war when another soldier exposed me to Madstock. And I'm picky... Anyone for the love of heaven have the LYRICS...? Can't find them anywhere. :(
